Winter Goodies

Guys, in true Texas style, the weather has been going up and down all month long and it is just plain annoying. Within the first two weeks, it has been freezing and snowing to rain storms to sunny and 75º. Either way it's winter time, so here's a round up of my favorite items now!


Fashion:

• Duck Boots - These are amazing! And will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Ireland!
• Sullivan in Woodgrain Tortoise - It seems like every year, I want to pick out a new pair of frames because they aren't my style anymore or they were cheaply made and broke multiple times. I'm super happy with my Warby Parker pair I picked out!

Makeup:

• TimeWise Repair Revealing Radiance Facial Peel - I have been using this for a couple months and the results are amazing! Think of it as the Microdermabrasion, but with twice the results.
• White Tea & Citrus Satin Hands Nourishing Shea Cream - Use this multiple times a day, because my skin get so dry and 'tight' feeling in the winter and this new formula is a game changer people! (Also available in Fragrance Free).
• Now my favorite makeup items is definitely Mary Kay's Liquid Eyeliner Pen. This is a game changer y'all.

Foodie:

• Tea - I have been making a yummy black tea in the afternoons and evening (instead of coffee).  Click here to see how I make it!
• Mystic Monk Jingle Bell Java - I mentioned on my fall favorite list that my ultimate favorite coffee flavor was a seasonal holiday one and here it is!! I love this one so much, that I always end up ordering a 5 lb. bag for the freezer to last several months after the holiday season (when it is no longer available.) 🎅🏼☕️

Watching:

• Parks and Recreation - what else could I say except it was my laugh everyday. 😂😂
• Rough One - AHHHHHH it was sooo good! Hated the ending, but it totally made tons of sense and really could not have been done any other way.

Reading:

• The Magnolia Story by Chip & Joanna Gaines - I fell in love with the show and Magnolia Market last year and now the book! Their story is one of kind and so inspiring. Be on the lookout for a blog post coming soon!

Listening:

• Most of y'all stopped listening to Christmas music several weeks ago, but because Christmas is a season, not just a day - for me it ended on the 6th (yep, the real reason behind the twelve days of Christmas song). 🎄 Anyway, Michael Buble's Christmas album has been my winter jam.

Random:

• iMac - a few months ago I damaged my Macbook Pro laptop and I was trying to decide between repairing it or upgrading to a desktop and finally, gave in and bought a 21.5-inch iMac.
