Hey y'all, it's Suzanne Marie here! I am 20 something and sort of a college graduate. I graduated on a flute this December and I'll graduate again in May with my BBA Degree in General Business.
Three things I am very passionate about: Coffee, Travel & my faith. I love discovering new coffee flavors and quaint little towns. :D
Usually people only get to see one side of my personality. Most know me as a very sweet and quite girl. But I am also bold, strong, and kind of wild. So grab a cup of coffee and let's have an adventure!
Hey y'all here are some of my most frequently asked questions:
A: I actually started it in 2013, around the time of my High School graduation. I was super embarrassed to tell anyone about it, so I kept it a secret for years and only posted at the end of each month. This went on for three years and then in 2016, I started to post once a week, to get use to blogging consistantly and getting some content ready for an official launch.
Q: Why after three/four years did you finally make it public?
A: Honestly, I am not sure. I 'launched' my blog in April 2017, which was right in the middle of a crazy hard semester. A lot had happened in the past year and a half and I was just ready for the change. One of my best friends and I, always say you never know what is going to happen, unless you try.
Q: What advice would you give someone just starting a blog?
A: Make it public... and do not give up. Getting readers, comments, followers (who are not your sister, mom, and best friend), will take time. And make sure you are using all the social media factors (Pinterest and Instagram are crucial for bloggers, although it is getting harder and harder because of the algorithms.)
Q: Why have a majority of your post recently have been all about travel?
A: Traveling is something my parents got me started on; we would take road trips all over the central, midwest and eastern portion of the United States when I was growing up. One of my goals is to visit all 50 states, and I am currently halfway there. And in college, I got to attend three study abroad programs (Hawaii, Italy & Greece, & Ireland) and this introduced me to foreign travel - which is scary and oh so exciting!
Q: Clearly you are obsessed with coffee, but why the other food posts?
A: Hahaha, yes I am. Coffee is a second lifestream for me and I love to visit and share all of the interesting coffee shops around the country with y'all. And the other food, well I don't remember when I first started writing foodie posts, but I really enjoy them - writing and eating.
Q: You seem to jump around with topics, what would you categorize this blog as?
A: I wanted to have a fashion blog forever, but my budget doesn't allow that, so I really feel like it is more lifestyle. I mean there are fashion, makeup, skincare, DIY, food, travel, faith, etc, posts, so what would you categorize it as? Lifestyle is the one that just makes the most sense. But honestly, the jumping around fits my personality.
Q: What camera do you use for photography?
A: I jump around with using my iPhone 7 and my Canon EOS Rebel T5i.
