Have you ever gotten up at five in the morning to unintentionally be the first customer at a brand new coffee shop location? A week ago, I did just that. Craftwork Coffee Co. opened their second location, this one right in the middle of the coolest part of Fort Worth - Magnolia. They have a prime location, right on the corner of S. Henderson and Magnolia. With a fresh, clean feel and hipster vibe, it fits right in. Brand new, but feels like it has been around for a while.

Wood, leather, metal continues the vibe with a wonderful industrial feel. Tons of natural lights floods in with the sunrise. Old and new friendships have already met and gathered. Old customers wanting to check out the new digs and scope out the area, stop by.

Unintentionally I was the first customer, while waiting for a friend. And while sipping on a latte, watching the rain roll in and out, waiting for the sunrise, enjoyed the slow start to the morning. Getting to experience life in the moment, instead of the rush.

Actually sitting here in Craftwork typing this up on my phone, as I have yet to fix my laptop (and regretting it right now). Watching people come and go. It's exciting to see a small business flourish. Definitely in the top coffee shops in Fort Worth. Cannot wait to see where they will go next.
