It has been so hot down here in Texas and that calls for all of the light and flowing materials. This ombre dress was an amazing find at JCPenny's for multiple reasons, the first and most important is the fact that it is a maxi dress that was actually the correct length without wearing heels and that is a huge win for a short person.
So on top of the fact that it is lightweight material, great length, and a beautiful blue ombre, it is under $30. Now this dress is actually an off the shoulder style, but it's perfect on the shoulder too.
And how cute are the doggies? Benny and Lizzie loved that I was in the backyard taking pictures; they were so fascinated and totally wanted to be in the shoot too.
Last thing I wanted to talk about contrasting colors - blue and orange. Notice the orange eyeshadow and nails?? Perfect contrast to the aqua. Just enough to work without overdoing it, although an orange necklace or earrings would be amazing too.
Love his concentration on the camera.
So cute that Lizzie was just sitting back there watching for a while.
