Left - Silver Bullet, Right - Natural Grey |
Amazing what a new coat of paint can do. A month ago, my sister moved out. In out twenty odd years, neither of us have ever had our own room or place. So it was (and is) good for the both of us. I knew that regardless of when she was going to actually move out, the room was going to get repainted. It was time to get rid of that lavender purple, our high school selves picked out.
Somehow an entire section ended up being slightly darker - luckly I still had to repaint with the second coat.
Aftermath of my sister moving out - what was left on her side of the room.
Might have been staying up wayyyyy too late to work on it.
New paint = new blinds, curtains, and rods.
Not the completed look, but I'm kind of at a standstill for finding the last few items and what should go on some of the walls. Regardless, there is a sense of peace finally having a place of my very own.
Also I ended up painting my brothers room, because around the time we painted our room purple, their room got painted green... like the color of the exercise ball pictured above. We ended up finding a gray with a nice purple tint to it.
XOXO,
Suzanne Marie
