Grand Day for a Tea Pary

Along with my sister, Jen and cousin, Maggie, I hosted a Tea Party! Mag come down to Texas for my graduation party, and stayed for over a week! (Now that's what I call a loving family member!) She stayed over in Dallas (with AJ and Uncle Bill) for about four days then came on over to Fort Worth to hang out with us! I had been wanting to have a tea party & she wanted to meet some of my friends, So ta-da! A Tea Party! I sent out Invitations, and started planning the event! (Bear in mind that three days before this was to be my Graduation Party.)

I had in mind an outdoor event, I forgot that this is Texas & without shade it's really hot!! (Our backyard isn't in the shade until early afternoon (around 2pm). But we all braved it out and ate in the hot sun, then moved to the shade for dessert. But despite all of that I believe that all of the girls had a great time, & the decorations looked amazing (from the flowers, to the tea cups!) Hopefully I can host another one (this time either in the shade or inside!), I mean you're first few party's that you host you will run into something that's not quite right or thing you could have done a long time ago but are doing it at the last minute, but don't stress out about those things. Even if it doesn't go quite according to plan, just remember to have a good time so that your guests will too! (That is something I always need to remind myself of.)
