My Favorite Mary Kay: Pumpkin Spice Latte Eyes

Ah October, I welcome you with my arms spread open wide. Not only is it a new month, but it's fall. And you know what that means, cooler weather, sweaters, scarves, pumpkins, and of course pumpkin spice lattes! Ah I love it! Especially when it actually feels like fall, so you can imagine my excitement when I woke up this morning and it was in the high 60's! Down here in Texas that is a big deal. 😄 Unfortunately it warms up rather quickly, so before you dig out all of your cooler weather wear, how about we update your daily makeup routine real quick? This look will work with all of the plaid shirts and scarves combinations there are.

Alright let's kick off the PLS blog series with a fall worthy look. Everything I used for this look comes from Mary Kay:

CC Cream (I used the Very Light) [This is the foundation]
Mineral Powder Foundation (I used Ivory 1)
Eye Primer or Cream Eye Color (I used the Beach Blonde Cream Eye Color, it works just like an eye primer, but adds a little bit of shimmer.)
Mineral Eye Color in Crystalline, Amber Blaze & Espresso
Gel Eyeliner
Ultimate Mascara - Black
Mineral Cheek Color - Sunny Spice (matte color)
NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss - Cafe Au Lait

After putting on your foundation, take either the eye primer or a cream eye color and put all over both eyelids, even up to your brow. I use the Beach Blonde Cream Eye Color everyday, it is super easy to put on and add's just a little bit of shimmer to your lids. Next put the Crystalline all over, focusing mainly on the inner corner. Then add Amber Blaze in the crease and lid, but don't spread it over your entire lid, leave the inner corner with just the Crystalline on it. Add a little bit of Espresso on the outer corner, and then blend in with with Amber Blaze.

Once you have the mineral eye colors in a way you like it, use the gel eyeliner to create a very thin line above your top lash line. With this a little bit does go a long way, so be care and go slowly. Add some mascara on the top lashes, and bottom lashes if you want. Next add some Sunny Spice Mineral Cheek Color to your cheeks. Remember to keep it about two fingers away from your nose. Finally, lips! Dash on some Cafe Au Lait Lip Gloss and ta da!! You are done and ready for fall! Contact me if you have any questions.
