This year I decided that instead of always falling back to Starbucks for a caffeine 'pick-me-up,' I wanted to go exploring and find all of the 'hidden gems' in the coffee industry around the DFW area (mainly Ft. Worth area). Plus it's these types of small business that have the super friendly staff and absolutely amazing little characteristics.
This cute little shop, Brew'n Blues, is located up in Keller. I ordered a Hazelnut Latte and Eva got a Coconut Crunch (without the whipped cream), which is a blended specialty drink. I usually order vanilla lattes and so the hazelnut latte was a perfect change and was absolutely amazing, sweet and nutty.
On a lazy Sunday afternoon, it was the perfect coffee shop to sit down and plan our trip next month; it was nice and quite, they have several lounge chairs and then little tables.
