Chocomize = Customized Yummmmmm

    Oh my word, y'all. I totally fell for one of the Pinterest ads and clicked on it to see what the yummy, colorful looking delights were. And this is what I found! They are truly heavenly.

     Now of course that does mean a little on the pricy side, but I think they are worth it, in a way. So many people have this thing over quantity over quality and in reality, quality should come first (in my opinion). Thus these cookies (ie. Macarons) are expensive, but for a very very good reason. I was a little disappointed in the amount of filling, they are pictured online with quite a layer of the filling, but as you can tell from my pictures it's quite hidden between the two cookie layers. But even though there wasn't as much as was pictured, oh my word they were delicious!

     And let me just say that it's totally pronounced exactly like it looks (not macaroons, which I use to call them until I looked it up, a macaroon is a different kind of cookie that is coconut based, while a macaron is almond). A macaron is a french

    You can get a box of six or twelve of your choice. And they have 16 flavors to choose from, I have to say it was tough because I wanted to try one of every flavor! The picture on the box only shows 15 and one of them is pictured twice (the green tea), the two that are not pictured are Pistachio and Red Velvet & I didn't get either of those to try (yet!).

   So I chose the cherry, lemon, salted caramel, lavender, green tea, blueberry, tiramisu, coconut, raspberry, mango, double chocolate & rose. So I didn't get strawberry, vanilla, pistachio, & red velvet.

   The first one I tried was the lemon, because when I was taking pictures I accidentally smushed it and the natural response is to eat it! Let me tell you I was super surprised by the strong lemon taste, most flavored things aren't like eating the real thing, but this was the perfect lemon flavor! The cherry was the same way, just like it had an actual cherry in-between the two cookies! The blueberry one wasn't quite that 'strong' and yuck, I did not like the green tea, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Raspberry was kind of like raspberry ice cream & the double chocolate was delish!! Mango was okay, not bad, not great. The Salted Caramel one (blue), was super yummy.

     I was surprised by the Rose one, it seriously  tasted like how a rose bud smells! And the tiramisu is just a chocolate, coffee wonder!

XOXO,
Suzanne Marie
