First things first, hair! If you haven't noticed I got my hair cut right before I left for Italy and it was quite an annoying thing, because it has been about two or so years since I've had my hair this short and I totally forgot to bring any kind of product with me. So after dealing with frizzy hair for the past seven weeks, all I wanted was controlled curls again. Thankfully these two products are my now go-to: OgX Quenching Coconut Curls - Curling Hair Butter, & Herbal Essences - Tousle Me Softly Tousling Mousse (Both available at Target!). Everyday after I either wash my hair or just get it wet, I'll use the hair butter and leave it in (super important!!! leave-in-conditioner!!) then I'll add just a little bit of mousse!
Alright now I'm going to skip over skincare, as I've already covered what I do in a different post. So on to makeup! After washing and moisturizing my face, I use the Mary Kay CC Cream. After spending seven weeks practically in the sun, I've, for the first time every, went a shade darker and have been using the Light-to-Medium. Then to bring it back down to a matte, I put on a little bit of Mineral Powder, in Ivory 1.
Then I use the Cream Eye Color in Beach Blonde all over my eyelids; seriously love this stuff!! It works as a primer or adds the perfect amount of color and shimmer to brighten up your eyes! Then I make a very tiny winged eyeliner look, with the Gel Eyeliner. And finally, I have been using about two coats of the new Lash Intensity Mascara (which unfortunately is backordered from corporate, so I can't link it, but pm to order, as I have some in stock!). Oh and if I look tired (thanks genetics!), I'll dab on a bit of the new Undereye Concealer.
One last thing is a quick dash of lipstick! I have been changing this everyday to go with, well outfit, personality, mood... you know whatever shade I feel like that day. Plus the easy natural look of the eyeshadow makes it easy to switch up the lipstick shade! Well there you go, a super natural and easy summer look that you can honestly wear all year around!
XOXO,
Suzanne Marie
