Monday everyone was a little sad about leaving Galway, as we all agreed it was amazing. But were super excited to head further south and continue exploring the amazing country. First stop was at the IDA, for a business visit and apparently our group was much more, let's say enthusiastic about the whole project, and actually asked questions. Over thirty vs. four from last year's group... It was a lot of fun and very informative. Probably my favorite of the business visits we had.
Then we headed to Bunratty. They have a heritage center, where they collect old buildings from around Ireland to be preserved. And it is all attached to the Bunratty Castle, where they have tours and realistic medical dinners. Super cool and was a great experience. After we had the medical dinner in the castle we went to the Creamery andDirty Nelly's for drinks. One of the best nights in Ireland!
We spent one day in Bunratty and then packed up and moved on to Cork. Visited Dell in Limerick, and it was interesting and boring all at the same time. Then we got to spend several hours exploring the Blarney Castle grounds, but it is huge and I really wish we could have had another hour or so. There was a whole other half, I didn't get to see.. But it was definitely worth going to! Kiss the stone and explore!
XOXO,
Suzanne Marie
