Melt

A little over three years ago Melt opened their doors on Rosedale St. It was quickly the go-to place for a delicious cold treat. With original flavors and use of fresh local ingredients, there was no wonder what the appeal was. Every month they change out the menu, sometimes brand new flavors or to bring back a local favorite.

About 10 months ago they moved off of Rosedale and relocated to the hipster area of Magnolia, where only the cool kids go to hang out... hahaha, that last part might not be true, but Melt was the perfect addition to the area, plus it was easier for new customers to find and better parking was 🙌🏼 🙌🏼

Although the inside might feel slightly smaller, they were able to add on a huge patio to the side of it and were able to keep their famous yellow brick wall. Everything about it screams happy. From their friendly employees and sunshine theme. Down here in Texas, it is a perfect year-round business.

I absolutely love the smell as you walk in, fresh homemade waffle cones?? YESS, Please! They are the perfect addition to fresh ice cream. And they partner up with local business to collaborate for favors and try to use fresh local ingredients when they can.

Only down fall is their are closed on Monday, which apparently is a thing on Magnolia, as Brewed also happens to be closed. I cannot tell you how many times, I have driven over there with siblings or friends only to be disappointed and have to turn to plan B (even when there wasn't one...).

But you can grab a pint and enjoy it at home or take it down to the park for a picnic. One summer my cousin and I ran over there before the Fort Worth Forth started, grabbed a pint, two spoons and headed down to the river and got to enjoy a Pint of Salt Lick (a caramel yumminess).

Photos below are all from the old location (2014-mid 2016).

Christmas in July Specials!
