Wyoming - Part 3

After finishing our drive through Yellowstone National Park, we headed into Idaho and because we ended up splitting our big trip into two smaller trips, going into Idaho was kind of a long trek and then quite a bit of back tracking. But it was a nice change of scenery and we ended up finding a hotel verse another campsite.

First stop was Twin Falls. This was probably the most out of the way stop we could have made, but because of so of the other things we cut out, I'm glad we went all that way.

By the time we were heading back to Idaho Falls, E was very insistent that we just keep driving and not even driving around, so that we could stay in Wyoming, even though the reason we drove through Idaho Falls and went straight to Twin Falls was her idea. There was a little back and forth, because she did not even want to stop and see what was there. Finally we decided on finding a hotel in Idaho Falls and after talking to the lady who checked us in, apparently the falls were only a block away. So after getting our stuff in the hotel, we walked on up there.

The next morning, after getting a good nights rest and hot showers, we walked back to the falls and E made a smug comment about she was glad she insisted we stay in Idaho Falls, instead of driving through. ðŸ˜’

Finally back in the car, we headed toward Grand Teton (pronounced exactly as it is spelled: te-ton) The park is much smaller than YNP, but beautiful.

We had to drive through YNP to get back to Cody, and half way through, I had to switch with E, because her driving through the parks was giving me an anxiety attack. On the drive back to Cody, we found a beautiful patch of flower and just had to stop and get pictures.

XOXO,
Suzanne Marie
