Last month, our local Target had a grand re-opening. They has spent the past couple of months remodeling the store (which was annoying trying to find everything), and the results are amazing! The party was definitely Texas worthy. I brought my youngest brother to the party and as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, the first thing we saw was a helicopter.
They has coordinated with the local police department and had a Ft. Worth Police helicopter in the parking lot for kids to sit in. Jake loved it! They had a DJ outside in the front of the store. And inside they had balloons all over. Once again, Jake loved it, they has them strung all over the store and even had some made into different fruits and veggies in the produce area.
One thing I was surprised about was the lack of crowds. But it was nice that it was just regular crowds.
Not even sure what all they had going on around the store, as we ended up staying in the grocery area. But as we were heading to the checkout, here comes a giant oreo! Jake gave it a few hugs and the lady who was walking around with it, said that was the cutest picture she had taken all day and that he could take more than one cookie. He picked one out, and then she literally scooped up a bunch and gave him an arm full!
It was worth going just for the free samples, but Jake had a ton of fun!
XOXO,
Suzanne Marie
