Balance

   


  Balance 
              -  bal·ance verb. establish equal or appropriate proportions of elements.

     As I was thinking about what my 'word of the year' should be, I thought back to 2013 and realized that I never really had much balance in my schedule toward the end of the year, always too much of one thing and not enough of another. (Too much sleeping in, too much babysitting, and never enough fun with friends.) The more I thought about it, the more I was sure that I knew that is what I want 2014 to be like, balanced. I have been trying to keep up with so many different things, yet some of them almost always fall out of the equation, and basically disappear from my calender. I want 2014 to be a good balance between everything from sleep to Church, school, work and friends. But in order to have balance in your life, you first must find balance between you and God.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 "There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens."
