After taking a short break from sewing (not intentionally), I went fabric shopping last Saturday, only to end up frustrated that I couldn't find what I had wanted. So after going to three different stores I ended up with this cute sky blue chevron print. Unfortunately I was not able to start on it that night, because our power went out... Minor set back... So I started it on Sunday, finishing it this afternoon.
So I'm still exploring the whole 'sewing blogosphere' (Yes, that's a thing! 😉) And I found a cool craft site called... wait for it... Craftsy. They have everything from Cake Decorating to Crocheting to Sewing and Quilting! I personally am mainly interested in the sewing patterns, it's a great place to discover new designers and patterns, like this one!
(Forgive me about the pictures, I realize that they are sort of fuzzy, I had a helper who was a little too enthused, and that my hair was in the process of drying it's self out.)
